Safety Practitioner (Manufacturing)

Position: ISO9001:2015 / ISO45001:2018 Internal Auditor

• Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal audits according to ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 standards within a manufacturing facility.
• Develop audit plans and schedules to ensure all areas of the organization are thoroughly reviewed.
• Identify non-conformities and areas of improvement in quality management systems and occupational health and safety practices.
• Write detailed audit reports outlining findings, root causes, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Work closely with department managers and employees to implement corrective actions and prevent future non-conformities.
• Track and monitor the progress of corrective actions to ensure they are effectively implemented and sustained.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on ISO standards and best practices for quality and safety management.
• Stay current on updates and changes to ISO standards and industry best practices to continually improve audit processes.
• Collaborate with external auditors during certification audits and assist in preparing the organization for external assessments.
• Act as a champion for quality and safety excellence within the organization and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to critically evaluate processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Proficiency in writing detailed audit reports and recommendations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and data analysis.
• Certification as an ISO9001:2015 / ISO45001:2018 Internal Auditor is preferred.
