- As an HR & Payroll Generalist currently responsible for 4 companies with a total headcount of 200.
- Two companies have both weekly wages and salaries and One company has bi-weekly wages and salaries use both Sage VIP Cloud and Accsys Peopleware to run the payrolls.
- Responsible for the whole payroll process from new engagements to terminations.
- Do month end reconciliations as well as year-end reporting.
- Process payroll recons weekly, fortnightly and monthly on syspro.
- Do recons for 3rd parties, including SARS, provident fund etc and do payments monthly on the 6th.
- Responsible for ensuring that the time and attendance system functions well and that employees’ clockings are accurate.
- Attend hearings and take minutes of the hearing.
- Give out warnings whenever necessary.
- Make sure that the employees’ files are up to date.
- This position reports directly to the Group Executive Director
Retail - Wholesale : HR & Payroll Administrator From 2011-6 To 2013-1 Duties
- As an HR & Payroll Administrator at Midas Group
- Was responsible for payroll administration for about 500 salaried employees, ensuring that data is captured accurately and timeously.
- Processing all the third party payments and preparing a schedule for accounts to pay.
- Maintaining the biometric clocking system and reporting on late coming.
- Capturing leave using the leave module as well as on ESS.
- Attending hearings and taking minutes, as well as other HR functions.
