  • Head up full Marketing function for Sub Saharan Africa 

  • Full Budget and P&L management 

  • Build strategic marketing plans for two focus clusters

  • Adapt global and regional marketing strategies for two focus clusters (ZASA - South and Southern Africa, WECA - West, East and Central Africa) 

  • Activities that leverage both the accounts and Logitech’s marketing plans. Working with various team members (including product marketing, regional marketing, and business groups) to understand the marketing priorities and strategic objectives. Use this information to build (in an ongoing fashion) a detailed marketing plan. Execute and measure the plan in conjunction with the KAMS, the respective channel, retail, distribution and enterprise partners. 

  • Execute and manage marketing plans, in-channel advertising placements, promotional plans and online / offline merchandising that will support Logitech marketing priorities, product launches and partner priorities 

  • Development and execution of an in-channel marketing plan for major retailers, e-tailers , B2B as well as key SMB resellers / channels. 

  • Assisting KAMS with the development and execution of account promotions, including budget management, set-up, pre and post analysis (ROI) and report out on results both internally and externally.

  • Development of merchandising plans, including plan-o-grams, display space, and in-channel Websites and Digital Marketing

  • Trade Marketing - 

    • Development, documentation, and communication of channel-specific requirements including size, space, or any customer or business driven requirements 

    • Develop requirements and budget guidance for activities, and project management responsibilities for the activity

    • Have an intimate understanding of what factors affect the visibility of Logitech products on our top customer’s media platforms. Develop plans to maximize this visibility. 

    •  Development of merchandising plans, display space in-channel as well as partner programs to drive traffic to customers media platforms 

  •  Supervise and manage branding and marketing communications strategies, plans and activities, including media planning and public relations to ensure effective communication of products / brands and that all activities are geared toward objectives and targets under set guidelines:

  • Develop marketing communications strategies and plans by obtaining input from Marketing strategy, in order to ensure alignment with overall Marketing and organizational strategies 

  • Manage execution and monitoring of plans and activities regarding media planning, e.g. content, message, communication channels, target audience to ensure effective execution to support marketing campaigns

  • Manage execution and monitoring of plans and activities regarding graphic design to ensure work efficiency within provided resources and budgets to support effective implementation to better capture attraction from customers 

  • Manage execution and monitoring of plans and activities regarding public relations to enhance brand perception for selected brands and customer awareness in alignment with overall 

  •  Manage outsourcing regarding marketing communications services to support Marketing function under optimal budget and cost constraints.

  • Managing all local graphic design through agencies and freelance designers and proofing all brand artwork before being executed

  • Provide advice on analysis of media / digital branding performance of the organization and competitors, in order to provide strategic recommendations on how to improve media management digital brand communication to ensure improved media performance 

  • Manage budget planning and utilization of Marketing communications resources to ensure they are supplied with optimal number and amount to work effectively as well as ensure appropriate return on investment (ROI) to organization. 

  • Review and present ROI analysis of impact of the campaigns in addition to making recommendations for future campaign direction. 

  • Business targeted events and tradeshows from stand conceptualization to post event event reports and follow through 

  • Liaison and planning with specific tech media and online platforms

  • Manage and analyze channel partner programs based on tiered approach

  • Lead Generation 

  • Collaborations with Distribution, resellers and end users
