Duties
- Responsible for the effectiveness of both preventative and corrective maintenance in the plant by ensuring that the equipment is well maintained.
- Ensure that preventative maintenances, breakdown repairs and modifications are accomplished according to schedule and recorded.
- Conduct and participate in shutdown maintenance, maintenance projects and machine upgrade projects.
- Provide technical and Specialist support of the plant
- Do fault finding on failures (RCA) and take corrective actions
- Replacing defective parts of machines or adjusting clearances and alignment of moving parts.
- Connecting and testing mechanical systems
- Setting up and operating production machines.
- Installing and levelling of production and general machineries in the plant
- Perform changeovers and setups on extruders and packaging equipment and machineries.
- Identify opportunities for equipment improvement.
- Develop and modify planned maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure maximum equipment reliability.
- Develop SMP (Standard Maintenance Procedure) on machineries and equipment
- Develop running Inspections on machineries, equipment and finding places to improve by adding to PM schedules and development.
- Ensure all assigned preventative maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
