Duties
I am a recently Graduated Student from University Of Pretoria. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. I have studied at University Of Pretoria for 6 years. I initially studied Chemical Engineering and changed to Chemistry. During my study years and to recent I have been a Lab Assistant, Chemistry Tutor, Physics Tutor, Supplemental Instructions Leader, House Committee Leader, Client Service Center Student Worker, Junior-Tukkie IT Operations Head, to name a few.
With regards to Laboratory Experience, I have been exposed and worked with Lab Equipment for 5 years both as a Student and a Worker. Among some of the techniques employed in my tenure (and consequently the operations of the machines) are Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, UV/Vis Spectroscopy, GC Chromatography, GC/Mass Spectroscopy etc.
