Manufacturing: Internal Sales Supervisor From 2012-7 To current Duties
- Manage the Internal Sales department
- Capture orders on Embrace (Put dates as and when customer requires stock and customer specific requirements e.g. Freight forwarders, deliveries cut-offs )
- Filing every Friday on rotation
- Send picking slip report (follow up on picking slips generated)
- Capture all orders the same day they come in
- Place items on backorder with Procurement
- Evaluate pricing upon price increase
- Handle credit note enquiries and requests
- Assist Procurement and Supply Chain Manager with Forecasting on Purchases with International supplier
- Send credit note tracking report to all Managers
- Send Back order reports to customers
- Release back orders when shipments(Airfreight and Seafreight) come in
- Monitor stock control
- Handle account queries, delivery queries, inventory, pricing, payment issues
- Handle credit note queries and requests
- Invoice stock on Pastel (Exports Sales)
- Quote Export customers (Formal quote)
- Do Commercial Invoices (Exports Sales)
- Send daily Sales reports
- Send prompt responses to customers on any enquiries
- Send weekly Sales reports to Directors, Managers, Supervisors and Reps
- Capture Sample request (report on samples issued to management)
- Attend weekly meetings with Logistics, Warehouse and Ext Sales
- Answer telephones (Give price and availability)
- Assist Technical Sales with calibration of gas monitors as well as quotes on gas detection
- Offer alternative product when stock is not available
- Assist with forecasting of stock with Suppliers
- Assist in purchasing of stock with Suppliers
- Capture forecast orders
- Allocate stock on forecast orders (When stock comes in)
- Build customer relationships and encourage up-selling or branding conversions
- Oversee performance and smooth running of the department

Prepare meetings for the Skills development facilitator, take minutes, and get venue for meetings. Prepare PowerPoint spreadsheets for the SDF and excel spreadsheets. Manage the SDF’s (Skills and Development Facilitator) diary. Book venues, travel arrangements and lunches.
