SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS                                                                                                         

1. 1.       Receiving raw materials                                                                                           

Ensuring raw product is on specification.

Offloading safely into the correct vessel as per procedures

1. 2.       Processing/Treatment                                                                                                              

Monitoring and ensuring the product is processed safely according to specification and per procedure (odour check, etc.).

1. Loading to customer requirements                                                                       

Ensure the correct, safe bulk/cylinder loading in terms of pressure and odour test as per customer and company requirements or procedures. 

1. 4.       Weekend work and overtime

The operator will be required to work weekends and weekday overtime on a rotational basis with other plant operators when necessary.

• 2 Years Code EC1 driver’s license, plus a valid PRDP would be an advantage.
• Hazchem training certificate
• 2 years of working experience and knowledge of a Propellant Plant
• Good judgement
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good written, reading & oral skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
