Inherent Requirements	Buyer & Storman MUST BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE In the manufacturing industry, both the Buyer and Storman play crucial roles in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and resources necessary for production. Here are job descriptions for each role: Identify and source reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and services. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Analyze market conditions and trends to anticipate supply chain risks and opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials. Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information. Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect for quality and damage. Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory control. Issue materials to production teams based on requisitions and production schedules. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and stock counts. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile inventory discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure adequate stock availability. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage material flow and replenishment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus. Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of inventory management software and systems. Strong organizational and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate material handling equipment. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
