JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The IT Technician will install and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal functionality. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of computer software, hardware, internet applications, networks, and operating systems, along with strong troubleshooting skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up workstations with computers and peripheral devices, including routers and printers, within RDS importance environment.
Troubleshoot hardware and software systems, perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
Ensure functionality of computer hardware such as monitors, mice, and keyboards.
Install and configure software and functions according to specifications.
Provide basic network troubleshooting.
Assist in optimizing IT systems and networks for performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies and procedures.
Orient and guide users on operating new software and equipment.
Provide technical assistance and support to end-users.
Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with team members on IT projects and initiatives.
Document and maintain records of IT assets and configurations.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT field.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify and solve troubleshooting issues.
