The Senior Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in driving the success of the company's sales efforts by providing expert consultation and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. This position requires a deep understanding of the company's products and services, strong technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of the solutions to prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and identify appropriate solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Address technical questions and concerns raised by clients during the sales process.
Solution Design:
Analyze client needs and design customized solutions that align with their business objectives.
Develop detailed proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, and implementation timelines.
Work with the product development team to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with the company’s capabilities.
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing consultation and support to clients.
Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and identify opportunities for additional services or products.
Technical Expertise:
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Continuously enhance knowledge of the company’s products and services.
Provide training and support to internal teams on product features and capabilities.
Post-Sales Support:
Assist with the smooth transition from sales to implementation, ensuring all client requirements are clearly communicated.
Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation phase.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise, ensuring client satisfaction.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client solutions.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants and sales team members.
Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing materials.
Requirements:
National Senior Certificate
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a solution consulting, pre-sales, or similar role.
Proven track record of designing and delivering complex technical solutions.
Must be able to engage with C-Level personnel as well as IT / Infrastructure staff on a sales and high technical level.
