Job Summary:
- A skilled and experienced Draughtsman in a manufacturing environment.
- Will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications from engineers, designers, and project managers.
- This role is critical for supporting our current projects and ensuring that our manufacturing processes are precise and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Drawings: Produce and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Design Support: Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret project requirements and produce accurate technical drawings.
- Documentation: Ensure that all drawings are properly documented and version-controlled.
- Standards Compliance: Adhere to industry standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements in all drawings.
- Project Coordination: Work with the production and quality control teams to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential design issues during the drafting process.
- Material Specifications: Specify materials, finishes, and other relevant details necessary for production.
- Quality Control: Review and verify the accuracy of drawings before submission.
- Process Improvement: Provide input on improving drafting processes, tools, and standards.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and best practices in drafting.
- Experience with various manufacturing materials (metals, plastics, etc.).
