Job Summary:

• A skilled and experienced Draughtsman  in a manufacturing environment.
• Will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications from engineers, designers, and project managers.
• This role is critical for supporting our current projects and ensuring that our manufacturing processes are precise and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawings: Produce and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Design Support: Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret project requirements and produce accurate technical drawings.
• Documentation: Ensure that all drawings are properly documented and version-controlled.
• Standards Compliance: Adhere to industry standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements in all drawings.
• Project Coordination: Work with the production and quality control teams to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential design issues during the drafting process.
• Material Specifications: Specify materials, finishes, and other relevant details necessary for production.
• Quality Control: Review and verify the accuracy of drawings before submission.
• Process Improvement: Provide input on improving drafting processes, tools, and standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

Industry Knowledge:

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and best practices in drafting.
• Experience with various manufacturing materials (metals, plastics, etc.).
