    Are you one of those employees who clocks in at 8am and clocks out at 5pm on the dot, doing as little work as possible? If so, you're not alone. But here's the truth: you're also the last to grow as a person and grow your career.

    So why do less productive employees get left behind? For one, they're not learning new things. When you're only focused on doing the bare minimum, you're not challenging yourself or trying new things. As a result, you're not developing your skills or knowledge.

    •Break down large tasks into smaller, more manageable ones.

    •Prioritize your work and focus on the most important tasks first.

    •Take breaks throughout the day to stay refreshed and focused.

    •Ask for help when you need it.

    •Don't be afraid to go above and beyond.
